A welcome return to putting things together.
December 5: Skier

For this being the Lego “City” collection, there sure are a lot of non-urban activities going on, but I do believe that what we have today is: a skier.
Rating
Fun ★★★★☆
While I wouldn’t personally consider skiing to be “fun,” this girl seems to be enjoying it, and now Snow Bro and the Doggie (which sounds like a morning radio show) have someone to play with. I think she’s also wearing the same sweater as her dog friend.
Ease of Build ★★★★★
Building the people is straightforward, and her equipment didn’t pose any particular challenge.
Comprehensibility ★★★★☆
Clearly, it’s a skier, which is easy to understand. Her legs are slightly shorter than other Lego people and they don’t bend, which I think is supposed to indicate that she’s a kid. That would not have been self-evident without prior knowledge, and not 100% sure that it’s correct—it’s just where the evidence led the last time.
The non-bending legs are going to make it extraordinarily difficult for her to execute her pizza and french fries maneuvers, but I’m sure she knows what she’s doing.
Extra Parts ★★★★☆
This kit came with an extra ski pole, which I’m giving a strong rating because I think could also make a great antenna or laser weapon in a different context. I’m also excited that this build came with any extra parts at all after the last couple days.
Overall ★★★★☆
I don’t have a lot of fond memories of skiing. It was suggested to me early on that lessons were “a cash grab” and that there wasn’t much to know about it since “gravity will do the work” (which could also be said of things like falling off of ladders and meteor strikes). Despite that, I’m giving a reasonably high score to Skiing Girl, because given the recent trend, it could have just been a baggie of skis.
